Review: TATE | Temptation Series by Ella Frank

TATEWilliam Tate Morrison – The man who came into my life and turned my entire world—and me—on its ass.

Logan Mitchell has always been a man with a plan.
One for work. One for his relationship. And one for his life. Which is exactly the way he liked it—until recently.
Now with words like marriage and weddings floating around his head, Logan’s plans have suddenly changed course, and where they want him to go has him feeling somewhat distracted.

Tate Morrison knows Logan better than anybody else—or so he thinks. So when his lawyer is finding it hard to sleep at night, he chalks it up to the craziness that has recently descended on their lives.
Never in a million years would he guess what’s really on Logan’s mind.

Tate is the fifth book in the Temptation Series, and the next chapter in the lives of the two men we have all come to know and love..

Shimmer my timbers comrades – this one… TATE was definitely a turn of events. I will just admit that right now. I don’t know if Ella Frank is trying to send me into an anxiety attack with these tear jerk moments or pound my ovaries in an overdose of orgasmic jilling inspiration.

I think as this series continues it is becoming more and more relevant to me that these needed to happen. Again, the first three books left on a point of satisfaction but honestly this continuation, at least in my opinion, was something that needed to be told for Tate and Logan. TEASE left off on this note of Logan finally realizing that he is not afraid of the commitment as he was previously, he wants Tate completely and utterly submitted to him, in Logan’s life in every humanly way possible.

This is definitely what TATE is all about. The angst and emotional climatic situations that influence our duo is just heart pounding this round. Their love up to this point has always been so powerful, intensely satisfying but now we are reaching that point for the couple of really trusting one another more than they thought possible. What they thought the other wanted has changed, what they thought was happening was bigger than they expected.

Because of this we have a little more push and pull on the tugs of the emotions of our characters and in some ways not in the way I expected. Logan is really exploring more desires, more emotional spectrum to how he wants to approach their relationship. Of course this takes Tate by surprise, new feelings and past conflicts really resurface for him; he has some huge fears that he isn’t sure he can overcome.

Though their sexual connection has always had this heat about it, with Logan’s insecurities and Tate’s anguish turns their love making into somewhat a soul searching for the two. They really bare their souls and emotions to each other. It makes me swoon, shed tears, laugh all over again as they rediscover one another.

Bottom line – I have said it before and I will say it again…. pick up this series. I am dying to know what is about to happen in TRUE because after that cliffhanger I cannot just stop here. The raw emotions that I felt for Tate and Logan are undeniably intense, it is beautifully delicious.
