Review: Revenge | Skulls Renegade Series by Elizabeth Knox

REVENGEEvery single person at Skulls Renegade MC knows me as Jenna; Jenna Lawrence to be exact.
They think I’m some club whore because I’ve led them to believe that’s all I am. I’ve done a damn good job at being that girl. Here’s the thing, I’m not who they think I am.

My real name is Tegan Hill.

I’ve been here at Skulls Renegade’s Gainesville Chapter for nine long years, waiting for my golden opportunity that may never come. Skulls Renegade MC is responsible for my father’s death, or if I’m more specific, his killer Will Michaels is, Reed & Kyle’s father. I’ve watched every single thing happen in this club. I’ve seen Reed and Elena get married. I’m watching everyone around me starting to have their own happily-ever-afters. Only, I don’t get one. I won’t ever be able to, until I avenge my father.

I’ve devoted 9 years, 3168 days, and 76,032 hours to my cause. He’s bound to show up sometime and when he does I’ll finally get justice for what happened to me and my father.
I’ve expected a lot of things, but what I never expected, was to fall in love with a Skulls Renegade MC member. Which will conquer? My love, or my hate?

Well tickle my pickle comrades we are back for more! And I will be the first to admit I am happy I kept this series going. Can I just say I really enjoyed Jenna and Dimitri’s story. It was darker, a different dynamic than seen in the previous two novels.

Both Dimitri and Jenna have their secrets, oh lordy do they have their secrets. Not only their secrets, but they have such powerful, dark and conflicted personality that I honestly felt they were drawn to one another. Dimitri had this entire possessive yet toxic protectiveness mentality with Jenna. They were kind of the loners of the group for justifiable reasons, but when it came to each other they were completely consumed.

Because they were so consumed with each other, honestly I think I enjoyed their chemistry so much more than the others at this point because they were the ride or die connection. They embraced each others flaws, their demons and more importantly there were no judgement between them. They were just… a unit and that was that.

I gotta admit, this series is getting better and better as it continues. I liked Revenge for a lot of reasons. There is definitely a bigger evolution in the writing style from Reign to Revenge and the more of the series I read the more dynamics I am sucked into with the twists and turns of the plot – hell the entire Skulls Renegade bad boy bikers just has me captivated at this point. Each book up to this point has just been more pieces of the puzzle and I am finding more enjoyment out of the series than I originally thought!

Cannot wait to dive into Relentless … I have a feeling it is going to be kickass.
