Sweet baby Jesus and crackers I am pretty confident I am having a heart-attack… yep, those are chest pains. I am feeling them, because whew this was a hard punch to my tits. Seriously the ups and downs was absolutely mind blowing, it sent me for a fall.

Something I am definitely going to admit is I am getting more and more obsessed with all things Linde. I love her writing style. She has a way with adding so much depth to the simplest of scenes. She adds such a stunning dynamic to the emotional compositions with the characters, I am in love.

David is hands down the most swoon worthy, scrumptious piece of man meat. Man oh man do I want to break off a piece of his snickers bar and gobble it down. He has such an amazing personality. Both passionate about his personal and romantic qualities. Even though at the cliffhanger it appears he was careless with his past, I really think he is just an intelligent, level headed guy. Sutton on the other hand is kind of where things get iffy for me. I love her, I do, she has such a stunning personality; compassionate, emotionally invested, she cares about everything and everyone in her corner. However this is also what irks me. Though she grows from this particular quality, she still allows people to dictate her choices. She lives with her heart on her shoulder, she is strong which is admirable, but she still allows herself to become weak when pushed in a corner.

Sutton’s personality really clashes during the reconnection of Sutton and David. They definitely have their struggles, extremely relatable because it was raw emotions however I felt in a lot of ways things could have ran more flow-worthy if Sutton hadn’t allowed people to peer pressure or dictate her every action. Having to justify her feelings, relationship choices, her personal choices, it constantly made me scream at the book. Literally my husband walked into the room when I got to spots yelling: ARE YOU SERIOUS? Why? Because she was this fragile person in a fragile state – bleh bleh.

I rant – I am sorry…

Honestly though I loved Sutton and David’s connection. They have such a beautiful emotional chemistry, there is fire on such a massive level. While reading their dynamics it is evident their characters just gravitate to one another.

Bottom line, this was absolutely a powerful, beautifully written. David and Sutton have this amazing story I felt they were just perfection. I just personally had pet peeves with the secondary characters; the influence from Maverick’s mother, Sutton’s siblings, even her friends – just irked me. But when you separate David and Sutton’s into their own bubble, the bubble that deserves to be read, it was masterful. I loved every minute of them. I honestly cannot wait to see what more of Linde I can obsess over.
