CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.
SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three.
She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends. He wants to spend time with her. He wants to drive her crazy.

I have a new favorite author. Sara Ney, please just take my money, all of it.
What can I say enough of that made me enough this series? I mean really, this may only be the review for The Studying Hours, but honestly I devoured this series. I loved everything about How to Date a Douchebag. The writing style, the character dynamics – all delicious. The hilariously entertaining everything was leaving me laughing until I cried, doubled over in pain in my side from chuckling like a school girl.
But obviously we are only here to discuss Sebastian and Jameson… so lets get started.
I loved Sebastian. Holy book boner nuggets in a happy meal did I ever love his character. He is an asshole, he is a jerk and more importantly he was fucking hilarious. Literally from the first interaction he had me hook, line and sunk to the bottom of the damn pacific. Though he wasn’t just a sexy piece of man meat, he had a certain level of depth to his personality. Jameson, or James (or as Sebastian dubbed her, Jim) on the other hand the complete opposite of what everyone perceived her to be. James was also a fun character, beautiful, kind and had a sassy snap to her that made everything better. I dare say I loved her just as much as Sebastian.
And don’t even get me started on their banter. They were hilarious together. Their friendship grew as their relationship continued to develop. Not just from the physical connections, because honestly the banter was a means of sexual foreplay for them, but they really had a communication between them that really helped aid their chemistry throughout.
Something I also really enjoyed was the supporting characters. Which of course leads into the following books, but I really enjoyed how their characters all interacted with each other. Especially Sebastian and his roommates. Not only was there massive amounts of penis bromance going on, because honestly I love the bromance feels, but they all had this weird revolving world, regardless of the issues or fights between them. They were all douchebags and they were best friends. Diehard, Ride or Die friendships.
Definitely a favorite read out of the entire series. I won’t deny that in the least. I loved every book in this series, but definitely Sebastian James were my favorites. They just had this hilarious chemistry with such great sexual development I couldn’t help but gush over. Really just a fun read. Could not recommend this series, hell this author more.
