Revew: Tempting Love | Cowboys & Angels by Kelly Elliott

TEMPTING LOVECan a woman actually make you feel like you’re losing your damn mind?

If she is Corina Miller.

The only woman who has ever made me long for something more, and let me tell you, that has me all kinds of messed up. After months of ignoring my feelings, it’s clear to me I’ve fallen for those piercing blue eyes and sexy smile.

But is it too late?

Have I pushed her into the arms of someone else?

Hell no am I letting that happen.

I’m on a mission to win the heart of the only woman I’ve ever cared about—and the only thing standing in my way is one stubborn and pissed off Corina.

I always did like a challenge.

Tempting Love is book 3 in the Cowboys and Angels series

Romance | Contemporary Romance | Adult Fiction

Ok – I admit it, I cannot stop reading this series. I have devoured them! I will not lie to you. I have to admit though, I do not know which one is my favorite right now but I will say now that I do adore this one, Mitchell was definitely the brother I was dying to read about!

I literally fell head over heels for Mitchell during Lost Love, as he was more visible supporting character during the first book, mostly because he is Steed’s twin and secondly, Corina is Paxton’s best friend. So I definitely wanted his story, the sexual tension, the hate glares, and honestly why Mitchell had a stick up his ass. I finally got my answer! Which I won’t spoil for you, just know he had a lot of internal conflicts, which was justified. He really was a swoon worthy, level headed kind of guy, I really enjoyed his personality. This really played a huge role on how he was with Corina, he wanted to jump all in but wasn’t sure if he could, wanted to, or hell if he could live up to what was expected of him. I really enjoyed his conflicts.

Corina on the other hand was a force to be dealt with, she was fierce. Her personality was super fun, I liked her friendships with the other Parker family members, she was just a really fun character. Aside from that I also like how she carried herself. Though she was really hesitant with Mitchell, she was respectful enough to go with the flow, really opened herself up for the chemistry while still protecting herself.

Obviously their chemistry is something I have been aching to read. Everything from the first book until now has really made me excited to read their story line, and I tell you comrades it did not disappoint me in the least. The steam was dripping from the pages when they were together; I loved their living situation, their friendship down to the sexually intoxicating moments – really amazing.

I really did enjoy this one, the only issue I keep having is that I feel like there is a small drama that hits a climatic entrance, then leads downward to be slightly lack luster. Though the drama of the Parker men’s swooning for the town has always been the bigger issue, I feel like there could have been another route or more added factors to Corina and Mitchell’s premise. The jealousy, though is used widely in romance, could have been a little more fun, strictly in my opinion.

Bottom line, I cannot get enough of this series. I have been inhaling them one book after another. Once I got started I couldn’t stop. I think that Tempting Love is one of my top favorites, however I am really excited to read Love Again! So comrades, happy reading!
